Moonrise Blue at Limestone Brewers

Moonrise Blue is an acoustic project spearheaded by Brian A. Thompson, former guitarist for Osage hard rock / heavy metal act Wikked. After Wikked's dissolution in 2012, Thompson looked to continue his music venture with a new band, taking over the mic to begin singing as well as guitaring. He tapped former bandmate Brandon Parcel to join, and together the pair laid the foundation for a handful of original songs as well as cultivating a diverse set of cover songs for audiences in the local northern Iowa / southern Minnesota area.

As of 2015, Parcel's involvement waned and Thompson continued on with the project as a solo performer, working to finish writing and recording the debut Moonrise Blue album, tentatively titled "Truth Is..."
